Psychotherapy Action Network (PsiAN)

I am a member of the Psychotherapy Action Network (PsiAN).

PsiAN advocates for mental health education, research, policy, and practice in which depth, insight and relationship are valued as key elements of successful treatment. It also stands up and speaks up for the significant and lasting benefits of quality therapy, which many people are simply not aware of. The organisation supports alternatives to prevailing models that tend to reduce human problems in living to a list of symptoms or superficial forms of diagnosis, and current trends where overly structured, manualised, or even automated treatments are first-line remedies.

PsiAN strives for a world in which psychotherapies that create meaningful change are universally available to those in need, and advocates for awareness, policies and access to psychotherapies that create meaningful change.
